How beautiful are the stones at the water's edge.  They are like people who have had many incarnations in which their life experiences and challenges resulted in their present refinement and delicate substance.  It would seem that they are positioned at the water's edge near this child to give love and inspiration to his/her little heart.  We are all connected . . . 

This little person could be your child, my child or the youngster of some one you know.    As you study the child's face and his/her dreamy focus, you wonder what could be so interesting as to capture his/her complete attention.  Perhaps it's a shell, or a sand crab, or a vision of something s/he is about to create with his/her shovel and the sand in the pail. He/she is surrounded by all of the elements of nature - water, earth, air and fire  (creative spirit).  He/she feels no limitation as he/she is a child of God and a pure spirit.
